El Davo in the Human Race

In the absence of Chapi matches, El Davo rather foolishly entered Nike's 'Human Race' 10K race in Madrid on 31 August. It should have been obvious that August in Madrid can get a trifle on the warmish side but seemingly oblivious to such concerns, El Davo turned up in tasteful Nike T-Shirt (along with 15,000 other masochists) to pace the streets from El Retiro Park to that well-known transvestite haunt, Casa de Campo (another park). These crap videos do not continue beyond around two thirds of the way through the race as beyond this point, El Davo had considerable challenges in raising either arm above his waist.

On another topic, I hear on the grapevine that it's been a little damp back home this summer. Well, just to let everyone know that it also rained here last Friday night for an hour or so. The important difference though is that the last time it did was in the middle of June!
